17th Graduation Ceremony – TBS Aerospace MBA – Toulouse – Sept. 28, 2016

On Wednesday 28th of September, the Graduation Ceremony of the TBS Aerospace MBA programs was held at Toulouse Business School with:

• the sponsor Mr. Patrick de Castelbajac, CEO of ATR,
• Mr. Alain Di Crescenzo, President of the Toulouse Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
• Mr. François Bonvalet, Dean of TBS,
• Dr. Christophe Bénaroya, Director of the Aerospace MBA,
• and Mr. Nicolas Osorio, President of the Aerospace MBA Alumni Association.

5.30 pm – Dr. Christophe Bénaroya declares the 17th Graduation Ceremony officially open. The “soon to be graduates” enter into the main TBS amphitheater applauded by the public.

5.35 pm – Dr. Christophe Bénaroya officially and respectfully dedicates this ceremony to the memory of Dr. Jacques Tournut who led this program with dedication and passion for over 15 years, crafting a unique program that even shapes TBS positioning. A dedicated animation follows. Christophe invites on stage Ms Sarah Kartalia with whom Jacques has continuously worked over the years.

5.40 pm – Sarah Kartalia addresses a warm, moving and heartfelt tribute to Jacques, with long applause and standing ovation.

5.45 pm – Speech of Mr. Alain Di Crescenzo, President of the Toulouse Chamber of Commerce and Industry paying tribute to Jacques and congratulating the Delegates of the Aerospace MBA

5.50 pm –  Speech of Mr. François Bonvalet, Dean of Toulouse Business School paying tribute to Jacques and congratulating the Delegates of the Aerospace MBA and the Aerospace MBA team.

5.55 pm – Dr. Christophe Bénaroya welcomes Mr. Patrick de Castelbajac, CEO of ATR, sponsor of the Graduation Ceremony. Inspiring speech towards the Graduates on leadership & management in the thrilling and fast changing aerospace industry.

6.00 pm – Graduation of the Aerospace MBA participants. Three Awards:

• Mr. Florent Rizzo: “Best Overall Performance”
• Mr. Xavier Suchocki: “Best Academic Performance”
• Ms. Rajeshree Avril Yegi: “Best Individual Project”

7.05 pm – Speech of Mr. Nicolas Osorio, President of the Aerospace MBA Alumni Association. Nicolas then handed over he Aerospace MBA Honoris Causa Degree to Mr. Patrick de Castelbajac, CEO of ATR.

7.10 pm – Closing address by Dr. Christophe Bénaroya, Director of the Aerospace MBA. Acknowledgment to all partners: ATR, Airbus, Indian Institute Management Bangalore, Etihad, IAS, GIFAS members, Aerospace Valley, ISTAT, USAIRE,  Steering Committee members, Academic Committee,  lecturers from the industry, Aerospace MBA Alumni, TBS faculty members, Toulouse Business School staff and especially the Aerospace MBA team:  Anne Pérignon, Marie Baudoin, Tricia Boby and Sarah Kartalia.
