Condolence meeting for Sandhya Prasanna – Sunday 18th of Nov., 2018 – Bangalore (India) – IIMB & TBS – AerospaceMBA Alumni Batch1

Sandhya Prasanna, IIMB & TBS Alumni, AeMBA Batch 1, left us for heavenly abode on 25th August 2018.

She was a bright and purposeful human being, committed and driven in her learning and life.

To offer prayer for the departed soul to rest in peace and to condole with her family and friends, a small ‘condolence meeting’ has been organized at the IIMB Campus, Bangalore on Nov. 18, 2018 (11.30 am, Classroom M23).

Prof. S. Raghunath made a first address to the family (notably Sandhya’s son Neel and husband Prasanna, and her parents) and to her colleagues attending the meeting. Remotely Richa Agrawal made it possible to Prof. Christophe Bénaroya to attend and say some words, recalling the last graduation ceremony held in Toulouse last September during which a tribute was paid to her in Toulouse with a minute’s silence observed by the 250 participants and a speech recalling how energetic, very reliable and humble Sandhya was.

A true inspiring example and pride for family and friends.

Anecdotally, we remember the short stay in Brussels where she had to face the theft of her belongings and manage, with Marie’s help, to have a new (white) passport at her disposal in a few hours to be able to return to Toulouse that very evening.

Although the distance does not make it easy to connect with the assembly or to make speeches, the Aerospace MBA program and team joined this meeting and wishes to bring all possible comfort to the family. We warmly thank and greet our friends from IIMB and our dear Alumnis whose faces we saw and heard the tributes during the live digital broadcast organized by the IIMB team.

Sweet memories.
