Toulouse Business School sponsored the international Paris Air Forum event that took place on June 16, 2017 in Paris, Maison de la Chimie. Many top level conferences and speakers attended this well established event (4th edition).

Tom Enders, CEO of  Airbus and Eric Schmidt, president of Alphabet Inc. (parent company of Google) discussed about the air traffic management, production costs, autonomous flight… A very fascinating discussion about new tech and their impact on aerospace.

  • Transavia explained that “25% of our sales through mobile phone, our customer services is on Whatsapp”.
  • The future Chinese-Russian large aircraft project is taken seriously by @RollsRoyce and by @BoeingAirplanes.
  • There is VLA market 777-X while A380 to be stretched for better efficiency but there won’t be a market for it according to Randy Tinseth @BoeingAirplanes
